01Commercial disclosure: exactly which pages
This site carries two coded referral links in total, one per page. Every other page carries none.
| Link type | Page | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Binance account registration | Exchange sign-up guide (English) | 1 |
| Binance Web3 wallet referral | The Chinese-language wallet setup article | 1 |
| Every other page (home, navigation, footer, all articles, all tools, all site pages, both languages) | 0 | |
Both carry our invite code BN0112. Using them does not increase what you pay — the code only lowers it: registering through one typically earns up to 20% off trading fees, with the actual figure being whatever Binance displays at the time and subject to their policy (checked 2026-08).
We may receive a reward under the platform's published referral programme. That payment comes out of the platform's own share. It is not deducted from your account and it does not change your fee rate. This is standard practice for such programmes, and we write it here so you know the relationship exists before you click anything.
When this site links to an exchange's official pages for reference — fee schedules, product documentation — those links carry no referral code.
02Why only two
Because a site covered in referral links is a funnel, not a publication. We would rather this stand on its content, with the commercial element appearing only where the context genuinely calls for it.
Those two placements were chosen this way:
- The sign-up guide holds the registration link, because anyone reading that page is already doing exactly that.
- The wallet setup article holds the Web3 wallet referral link, for the same reason.
Beyond that, we have not planted "go and register" buttons inside informational articles, and there is no entry point to either page in the navigation or footer. Reading about gas fees or seed phrases should not come with someone nudging you towards opening an account.
It is a real conflict of interest: our revenue comes from sign-ups, so in theory we have an incentive to encourage more of them. Our answer is to publish the opposite conclusion too — the site states plainly that many people do not need a Web3 wallet, and that leaving funds on an exchange with security configured properly is a coherent choice. You can judge us by whether we mean it.
03This site does not give investment advice
Everything here explains how mechanisms work and how procedures are carried out. None of it constitutes investment, financial or legal advice.
- We do not recommend buying or selling anything, do not forecast prices, and publish no return expectations of any kind.
- Crypto asset prices move violently and can fall sharply in a short period. You may lose your entire principal.
- We promise no outcome from any procedure and accept no responsibility for decisions you make on the basis of this material.
- If your jurisdiction has specific rules on holding, trading or transferring crypto assets, confirming and following them is your responsibility.
04The risks of self-custody
Self-custody means no recovery, no undo, no support. A mistake is generally permanent, irreversible, and nobody can compensate for it.
- A lost seed phrase means the assets are permanently unreachable. No identity check and no appeals process exists.
- On-chain transfers are irreversible. Wrong address, wrong network, wrong amount — there is no undo.
- The consequences of an approval can be delayed. Permission granted today may be used months from now.
- Recovery after theft is extremely difficult. Any paid recovery service should be treated as a second scam.
- This site's tools cannot judge safety for you. The address validator checks whether characters are self-consistent; it cannot know who an address belongs to.
If reading that makes the cost look too high, that is a rational conclusion rather than timidity. This article was written for it.
05On platforms and regulation
Mentioning a platform reflects that it is the entry point most readers actually use. It is not a claim that the platform is safe or compliant, and it is not an endorsement of any kind.
- What an exchange may offer in a given jurisdiction changes over time. Confirm availability and applicable rules for your own location before opening an account.
- Every centralised platform carries business risk, regulatory risk and the possibility of accounts being frozen.
- Beyond the referral relationship disclosed above, this site has no connection to any platform mentioned and no ability to influence their decisions.
- We take no responsibility for the content of external links. After following one, check the domain in your address bar.
06Content going stale
Fees, layouts and feature locations change at any time. This site does not write figures into its prose — it describes structure and notes when things were checked, and screenshots carry the month they were captured.
Even so, material drifts out of date. If you find something stale or wrong, write to [email protected]. After correcting it we log the change on the corrections page, including what changed and why.
